The Bee Group produces a series of themed Special Sections that it inserts into all of its papers. The ‘Education & Learning’ section focused on showcasing places and events where people of all ages could go to expand their knowledge or develop a new skill. I decided to use a stack of books to convey this knowledge, as its a widely recognized symbol of learning. To keep the composition visually interesting, I modified the type so that it appeared to be printed on the edges of the pages.
