For National Donut Day, Paula's Donuts wanted to build a countdown clock that would get people excited aboiut donuts, and promote their special for a free donut with a beverage. I decided a good way to do this would be to start the week with 6 of their best donuts, and as the days tick down, one by one the donuts start to disappear until on the last day, they all reappear beside a nice cup of coffee. I thought that this strategy would build suspense over what was going to come, while still showcasing their products.
